DICK HEAVEN
Dick Heaven is a musician out of New York City. He performs with equal parts glam and creep. Never satisfied with one sound, Dick finds himself constantly metamorphosing on stage. Through live screams, songs, tears, laughter and bleeding he believes, one day the sound in his head will be aloud escape; industrial performance art. Previously a member of Burlington, Vermont groups Yes & No Stories (Brixton Guns), Fantastic Dungeon, and Buckingham Phallus, as well as performing with Lowell Thompson and recording with Nosebleed Island’s Joey Pizza Slice. Dick is a present member of Pancho the Kid’s outfit and a founder of Brooklyn’s Glam Hammer.

A new Dick Heaven release tentatively titled Time Manipulation is expected by the spring. Watch for performances on the east coast around the same time as well with Son of Salami…

The self-titled Dick Heaven is Wes Buckley’s first official solo release, though he has been recording for over a decade. Dick Heaven was recorded on a Tascam 4-track using minimal effects. It has a steady layer of bass and drum rhythm that keep the songs up tempo while new melodies rise in and out with each listen. Lo-Fi. Dark electro-pop. Experimental. Hysterical. Dick Heaven is released with elaborate and beautiful packaging designed by Dick and screen printed by Tick Tick, the art and music promotion company.
